For more than a decade, Theresa has worked with women while specializing in gynecology, reproductive health & family planning. She is a compassionate provider and committed to delivering quality, evidence-based care to her patients.
Theresa is passionate about education and collaboration. “The opportunity to educate women and be a partner in their healthcare is my calling,” she says. “When a patient has solid information and understands all of her options, she is empowered to make decisions that can help her meet goals and live a quality life.” This philosophy is Theresa’s mantra. “By acting as a resource and providing valuable information – I feel I can really make a difference in my patient’s lives.”
Theresa was born in the heart of St. Paul. While earning her BA degree in Biology and Health & Exercise from Gustavus Adolphus College, she spent semesters in Scotland and Sweden. Theresa went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing and her Certification as a Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University School of Nursingin Nashville, Tennessee.
Theresa enjoys travel and spending time with her husband John and young daughter Gwyneth. She loves outdoor activity anytime of the year and is a national competitor in the sport of Curling. Theresa actually played in a World Tournament and still plays regularly on a team with her dad, brother and sister.
