Woman Receiving Massage --- Image by © Royalty-Free/CorbisTherapeutic massage is a great way to take a break from your busy day-to-day routine. It has been used for centuries to improve overall health of an individual. Our therapist offers many different types of massages. Read The Benefits of Massage as published in USA Today.

Prenatal massage can reduce stress and anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, and improve labor outcomes. Massage during pregnancy can also reduce swelling by stimulating soft tissue collection of fluids in swollen joints, which improves the removal of tissue waste carried by the lymph system. Prenatal massage can also improve nerve pain. Sciatic nerve pain is experienced by many women during the later stages of pregnancy. Massage therapy addresses the inflamed nerves by reducing the tension on the nearby muscles. Incorporating massage into your prenatal care is a great way to improve your pregnancy outcome and maternal health.

Swedish massage is the most common and best-known type of massage. If it’s your first time getting a massage or you don’t get massage very often, Swedish massage is the perfect place to start. Swedish massage promotes relaxation, eases muscle tension and creates other health benefits.

Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. It’s important to drink a lot of water after a deep tissue massage to help flush lactic acid out of the tissues. If you don’t, you might be sore the next day. It’s possible that you might feel some soreness the day after a deep tissue massage even if you DO drink water. This just means a lot of waste products were flushed out of the tissues. It should pass within a day or so.

All of these types of massage are offered in our clinic:
30 minutes = $45
1 hour = $75
90 minutes = $110

PATIENT FEEDBACK: “I came in for a massage yesterday for the first time. The therapist was great and I just referred her to a friend of mine.”
