Aimee
Neumann
Women’s
Health Nurse Practitioner
Aimee was born
and raised in the small town of Rushford in Southeastern
Minnesota. She attended the University of Wisconsin
– Green Bay where she received a bachelor’s
degree in human biology. It was there that her
interest in women’s healthcare first started
while taking a class in reproductive biology.
While shadowing a local OB/GYN her interest soon
grew to become a passion. She received both her
nursing and master’s degrees from Vanderbilt
University in Nashville, Tennessee, so don’t
be surprised if you hear a bit of a southern accent
now and then! She is currently a licensed RN in
the state of Minnesota and is certified as a women’s
health nurse practitioner by the National Certification
Corporation. She is also a member of the National
Association of Nurse Practitioners in Women’s
Health.
Clinically
Aimee has special interests in vulvovaginal health
(including common vaginal infections), counseling
women regarding contraception and family planning,
prenatal care, and adolescent gynecology. She
strongly believes in providing compassionate and
nonjudgmental care to women of all ages and empowering
them to make the best healthcare choices for their
needs.
Aimee and her husband Derek currently reside in
Eagan. They have no children yet, but plan to
start a family in a few years. For now they are
able to keep busy with their eight nieces and
nephews! Aimee has a love for staying active through
dancing, running and walking. She also enjoys
baking and cooking, and you will never find her
without a good book. Aimee and Derek also have
a strong interest in traveling, seeing movies,
and playing trivial pursuit.
